[TIP] When will Torrent Seeding finish? When you stop it!

Once you have downloaded files into the transmissionDownload area, your X2 becomes a Torrent Server and others can download them, or more precisely small parts of them. This is called seeding. This process will never end unless you do something about it.

You have two options (other than turning off BT Transmission):-

1)Move the files out of transmissionDownload. Not really in the Spirit of Torrent, but it does stop the process in it's tracks.

2)Help others out, on your terms. To do this set up a Schedule using Preferences. This has to be done via the PC Web client - not the X2 GUI. It's the button bottom left, next to the Tortoise. Limit Torrent seeding (and downloads) to night hours, 00.00-6.00 say. The files remain in the Seeding list, but they only appear in the Active list between those hours.
