X2 Mini?

Is there likely to be a "mini" version of the 500X2 (Fanless, no HDD)? 

I am interested in replacing my 500X with the 500X2 (particularly for GB ethernet), but as I have never installed a HDD in my 500X I would prefer to wait for a mini version of the X2 if there is one on the product roadmap.
