Hey,

For 99% of my files, I am having no problem at all. The software works great.

I was attempting 'The Usual Suspects' and everything works except the fanart. I'm getting all the details, box art, synopsis but not the background picture.

I tried to add the 'xxx.fanart.jpg' which I found online (I renamed it) - but still, no fanart?

Please help?

Thanks

Hi RS4, you could try to use my little app under (which I posted under 'Title Language'):

You can download the app from:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FP7GDJPK

Start the app, indicate where your jukebox is situated, use the correct titles (Be sure you use the SAME names in original and new title if you donīt want to change the title (and the original title should be the same (Cap sensitive) as the one you have in your jukebox: the original title is used by the program as the key), and fill in the <your fanart name>.jpg. See picture attached for example

then run the app.

Put the fanart file (with the name you just filled in the app) in your jukebox directory!

restart YAMJ TO MEDE8ER and it should work...

Ur a legend. Shot! It worked brilliantly

Had a little issue, I kept on putting the '.jpg'  extension on the file and it was obviously not working as a result. Then I sorted it out.

drop fanart.jpg into the movie folder

DELETE YOUR JUKEBOX FOLDER!!!

run YAMJ
RUN YAMJ 2 MED8ER

Your fanart will be drawn.

If your Jukebox already has the movie scratched it will not use the fanart in the folder.

I created a batch file to delete my jukebox folder and then run Y2M whenever i am doing scratching
I also have a dedicated SCAN folder so that it will not scan an entire video databass on my DROBO just newly added ones

Check out my batch file that 1.deletes your your jukebox folder automatically, 2. runs YAM to Mede8er.
http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,5208.0.html

I use this because i have a scan folder and then once scanned they are transferred to their respected folders

Tried this, put a "fanart.jpg" into the movie/moviename/ folder
then emptied the Jukebox folder
rerun YAMJ
RUN YAMJ 2 MED8ER

But it did not pick up the fanart.jpg, it is not in the jukebox dir after you run YAMJ (with changed name).
Tried it by putting the "fanart.jpg" in the movie/moviename/VIDEO_TS folder, but doesn't pick that up either.

Using Y2M_BETA6_YAMJ_r2010_32Bit_27Feb2011

Any ideas

Don't have that option under YAMJ settings, do have this one:
sets.indexFanart which I set to true, but that doesn't do it either (after emptying jukebox folder again)

So added that option to the "moviejukebox-Mede8er.properties" file in the YAMJ directory and that seems to work.

Edit: Btw also checked the logging and found that it also checks for "movie_name_fanart.jpg", not sure in which directory, but guess if I would have used that name format and tried the obvious directories it would have picked that up as well.

Thanks.
