Hey everyone,

I use the MED500x and I was interesting in the possibilities of copying movies from the Mac to the HD of the Mede8er.
Of course I use the cable that came with the mede8er when I bought it, but are their any other possibilities as well?

I recently bought an iMac and I am interesting if I could connect my mede8er with the iMac in order to transfer the files faster than with the original usb2.0 mede8er cable? At this moment a movie of 8,5 gb takes about 40 minutes.. could this be faster with some other cable/ connection of cables?

I am aware of the wireless possibility, but I guess this won't be any faster..

Thanks for the tips or recommendations!

Faste would be to connect the HDD directly to the SATA port of your computer/mac as the only connections are the network once and USB 2.0.
