 Huh  Can somebody please inform me how and for what the USB Host and USB Slave slots are used.

Hi Douw,

USB Host - The Mede8er can support ('host') USB storage such as Flash drives and USB Hard Drive enclosures, as well as supported USB peripherals, such as USB wireless devices;
USB Slave - You can connect the Mede8er up to your PC to transfer files to and from the internal Hard Drive at USB 2.0 transfer rates (i.e. use the Mede8er as a USB storage device)
