I will give that a try later but I think I disabled all processing - usually find that it introduces all sorts of nasties 

Will also get the Amp wired in to cut down on the number of cables running to the screen although it looks like the samsung will be going back as the recent 'repair' has not fixed the bad Image Retention (especially when you are playing with the Mede8er)
