Hello,

First post! Just sorted out a few films as I'm new to all of this, have a med400x. Anyway, all my films seem to have worked correctly apart from the above.

I have created an nfo file, with the following url http://www.imdb.com/media/rm818119168/tt1323594

but still I get the other film, minion madness.

How can I fix this?? Huh

Have you named the folder
Despicable Me (2010)

And the movie:
Despicable Me (2010).mkv
If it is a .mkv file?

What kind of media type is it?

Hello,

I have named the folder Despicable Me (2010)
The file within the folder is named Despicable-Me (2010).mkv
before this it was named Despicable.Me.(2010).mkv

And I also have the Despicable-Me (2010).nfo file with the url in it.
This was also named Despicable.Me.(2010).nfo before as well.

Still does not find the right film?Huh??

Just renamed the movie to Despicable Me (2010).mkv and the folder to Despicable Me (2010) and nothing, it is still pulling back the wrong film?

I even deleted the files from the jukebox first, and still it gets the wrong info, is there anywhere I can copy the 3 files from?

Am I best to use spaces in the nameing convention then?

Hi, I got only problems with not finding the right movies, if the name is not the same as found on IMDB..

Please pay attention to the NFO spec.
Try replacing the URL in the NFO file to this:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1323594/

If he removes the .NFO file and keeps sticking to the proper filename convention as mentioned in the manual, it will also work.....

I did remove the nfo file, and renamed the file and folder as specified in the guide, Despicable Me (2010).mkv  and it still retrieves the wrong info?

I even copied the name from the imdb?

I have ttried using . as a seperator and also spaces and neither seem to work for this file.

All my others appear to be fine?

Can I put the art in manually somehow into the jukebox?

I wouldn't waste time messing around with the jukebox images.
Follow this convention for posters and fanart (background) images and you should get good results.
Alternatively you could populate the following tags in the nfo file:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<movie>
    <thumb></thumb>                 <!-- url of poster image. use URL formatting, such as http:// for internet resources or file:// for local resources -->
    <fanart></fanart>               <!-- url of fanart image. use URL formatting, such as http:// for internet resources or file:// for local resources -->
</movie>

Using a meta-data manager such as YaNFOe or Media Companion (my personal favourite) should assist in assuring the desired images for the type-A personality...
