Between 1 - 10 seconds i am getting 0.01 sec lag in the sound in all movies. I have never had this problem before.. it just appeared. I have tried to re-install the firmware with no success.

Did you use config restore?

What setup are you using? Video and sound connection to your TV and amp?
What video settings and audio setting do you use in your mede8er setup?
What firmware version are you using?

Please see the Technical Support Guidelines as example howto give enough details.

Do you mean you can't re-install the old firmware, or you have and it still has the lag which only appeared with the new firmware?

Just reading this again, but cannot understand how you can measure this or even hear this?

The sound is disappearing really fast so the sound is lagging. The picture has also started to lag right now every 5 - 10 sec i get a fast lag.

My setup is:

mede8er 500x (with western digital green 1,5 tb)> hdmi > tv
philips 32" 5625

mede8er setup:

Sound:

nightmode: off
hdmi output: downmix 2 CH
spdif: downmix 2 CH

Video:

1080p 24HZ:  off
Video system 1080p 60hz
Digital noise reduction: off

System info:

V4.0.4
Bootloader: 0000.0202.1026
board: 1073DD
Free space: ~500tb

Had v4.0 before and i had the same problem.

is it something wrong on my box?

What was your previous firmware version?
Did you try to install that again to see if this issue is gone then?

Did you try to change your video setting to another?
E.g. HDMI 1080i 60 hz

Have you tried to play something from usb disk or usb stick?
Do you notice the same then?

Is it with all media files or only with some, e.g. only HD material and not with lower resolution material?
Since when did you notice this behaviour for the first time?
Was it always there or not?

I suggest to reconnect your HDMI cables also, to be sure that you are not having any connection issue.
Also unplug your TV from power, so the HDMI port gets a reset.

sorry for the late reply i have been really busy lately.

Okey the soundproblem has dissapeared somehow i dont know how, i reflashed the box with the latest firmware and now it works. But now i have another problem .. my movies have started to lag everytime it goes to fast scenes in movies and with 100hz on and truemotion on on my tv, i can see this lag really clear. it doesnt stops when it lags but the picture isnt "smooth" all the time.. and especially in fast scenes its smooth but after 10 sec maybe it starts to lag(but not freezes).

I have tried a tvix mediabox on it and it doesnt lag BUT it isnt just as smooth as on my mede8er. Is it the hardware that are just not enuff?

Really thankful for help.

Thanks for all the replys maasbommel!

What are you testing this with? Please use Mediainfo to generate details.

Users should try to have a test video which is an non-transcoded rip. What you described is what you get with a PC "anything will do" transcode. Hardware players are not tolerent on badly encoded media. The Med is quite capable of playing a bluray file in excess of 40mbps. It's usaully trasncoded files of much lower bitrates which create problems.

okey thanks for the reply, but how can i test a clean bluray rip when the mede8er doesn't support that kind of files? Or maybe you you have test file that works? the thing is that it didn't lag wit the tvix as you can see above

*edit* I forgot to mention.. it happens to .avi movies also.
