Which Java are you using? I prefer using the originators version, rather than a clone. Microsoft suck you in to using their version, but I think the Sun version will be nearer to the Java spec since they created it.

Another way to get a clue:
Can you open a dosbox and type the command: path And post the output here?

The scraping works well. Everything goes well until step 7.12
"7.12 To process the images you can check all titles or individual titles and select the “RUN YAMJ TO MEDE8ER” Tab. Y2M will now copy all the images into the correct folders automatically. "
This doesn't seem to happen, as I can't find a folder.jpg or about.jpg in any of my movie folders on the mede8er.
my directory structure
\\mede8er\HDD1\movies\madagascar \\mede8er\HDD1\movies\felon
etc
The folder jpg & about jpg don't get copied in the last step.
Any idea what's going wrong ?
thanks

We have seen this before with users on WinXP that have not latest SP3 installed with all the hotfix updates that come with windows update. And have not latest .net framework installed.

To Maasbommel and jer1956. i opened a dos box and typed the path but it says the same thing as previous - i am using sun java version 6 standard edition. anyways i got it working but i do not know if i have or will have any problems with Y2M in the near future or missing info on my about.jpgs created how i got it to work is i edited the MovieJukebox.bat file (i fiddled) from the line "java -Xms256m -Xmx1024m -classpath .;resources;lib/* com.moviejukebox.MovieJukebox %*" i had to removed the "-Xms256m -Xmx1024m" and it works... what is this that i have removed? is it detrimental as so far the about.jpg looks normal to me excpet the icons at the bottom are a little faded due to the transparency of the background band which i do not know how to edit... (which is the best skin to use or download to use or?) the folder that Y2M has scraped from the net i do not like, is it possible to change it and also the band around the folder which says DVD Rip -it's actually a BluRay rip but... about.jpg attached for viewing scrutiny thanks

Regarding this issue. Y2M (scrapper) scans video file name, and if your movie for example is: "The Social Network (2010) 720p Bluray x264 DTS-WiKi" you will get BluRay box around poster picture of the movie. If you have only movie name without description (BluRay.rip, BRrip, DVDrip, R5...) you will get this box with DVDrip text. Cheers

First off all nice program =)
Second, i dont know if its a bug or not but when i move my movie from the search folder somewere else, the program cant fint it and removes all settings and you cant do anything. If i move the movie back the program is ok again. I usually run this program on my laptop with the movie in 1 folder, then i move that movie to my mede8er, i cant do this with this release.
A bug?

HI n000b
If you are going to be moving folders out of the "Movies to Scan folder" just detete the "Jukebox" before you open Y2M.

Thanks MarioB, The template and urls helped alot. Now I can create some custom sheets for my series and rips with rare aspects ratio's, but keep them in line with overall look of the Y2M sheets. Am using Y2M for all my "mainstream" movie rips. Now I only have to figure out the science behind the sheets templates so I can port my custom series sheets to Y2M. Currently I'm using the designer from ThumbGen to create custom series sheets, like I said still figuring out the way they tick.. B.t.w. is there a designer for Y2M?
