You simply need to run the YAMJ tool and use it to scrape (read) all your movie titles (assuming each is in its' own folder!) and then it will add the about.jpg and folder.jpg file to the folders that contain your movies.  So you'd have something like this:

  \\windowsserver\windowsshare\moviesA-M
 and
  \\windowsserver\windowsshare\moviesN-Z

And then in those folders you'd have the movie folders:
   Aladdin <folder>
   Alamo <folder>
etc....

And then in Aladdin <folder> you'd have
   Aladdin.mpg
folder.jpg (for the folder thumbnail pic)
about.jpg (for the 720p movie summary and movie graphics - a beautiful picture

And then in the media browser, you need to mount the \\windowsserver\windowsshare so you can see it, hit the MENU button to add that share to your Video Wall, and then go back to the Video Wall icon.

At the Video Wall icon, you should then see the newly added \\windowsserver\windowsshare folder.  Open it, then you should see your movie folders... open them up and you should see some beautiful artwork and folder icons.

This place is for the support of Med "owners" using Y2M. I don't know how more explicit Mede8er1 can be without becoming inpolite. You don't expect us to point you at site where your problem posts would be welcome?

Considering they all have to do entirely with the software in question and nothing to do with the hardware, I'll confess to being a little disappointed, but here I am, trying to help other users with their software problems....

Y2M beta 3 worked well for me until one day this message appeared

"Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not create the Java virtual machine.
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
"

i have tried this latest release beta and still same issue obviously as it's not Y2m issue but a Java issue which i cannot seem to sort out, i've searched online but everything people say seems foreign to me as i am not a fundi in pc programming, etc... i have used revo to uninstall Java, reinstalled the latest Java 6, but still to no avail...

please someone help as my collection is growing but my about.jpg info is slacking behind... Sad

Y2M is software explicity created for Sanji's product, and this site is run by Sanji for the benefit of those who have bought Sanji's product.  So Med "owners" have paid indirectly for this site, others havn't.

Answering my own question here, for everyone's benefit:

mjb.MaxThreadsProcess=4
mjb.MaxThreadsDownload=10

If you ensure your 'moviejukebox-Mede8er.properties' file in the root of the application folder has the above, you'll get (or at least, I get) drastically better performance, and per the Wiki as of 1.6 the author does say it's Ok to up the thread count.

I went from 300K/s downloads from the movie sites to 1.3MB/s downloads (peak; it wildly varies during the scanning process), which makes for a _significantly_ faster experience.

I suspect the 10 threads helped more than the 4 threads; the top one should be the # of cores your CPUs have, and the bottom one should be the download queue size - 2 is typically tops at each database site, but you might have multiple queries to multiple sites going at once, hence rationale for a higher number there....try it and see.

It does seem faster.

Have you both 64 and 32 versions of Java installed? Few amatuer programmers are creating 64 bit code so you need 32 bit Java.

Did some Googling on this topic again, found the following interesting link:
http://geekycoder.wordpress.com/2009/07/08/java-tips-adventure-in-resolving-the-java-error-error-occurred-during-initialization-of-vm/

Please give it a try and follow the steps this guy did.

Summarized: search for java on your system32 folder and remove those java you find entries and retry.

Hi and Thanks for the Update.

Few Things,
1. Would it be possible for you to generate a folder.jpg for the Root Series Folder.
     E:\Series\Outsourced\Season01

2. Series aren't generating about.jpg correctly.

Series are a general difficulty with YamJ..... Still no good solution for this. For movies it is a great tool, but for series not.
