Hello all,
I was wondering where to go and/or who to contact in regards to ordering the accessories that come with the MED500X, such as:
USB WiFi with USB extension cable base (Cradle) Remote Control 100~240v AC Adapter (worldwide) with European mainland wall Plug European to N/S America plug adapter Rubber pads & Hard Drive Screws Quick Start Guide Manual
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Since today I have got the dongle, but I don't have a cradle. Can I order this somewhere seperatly, or maybe it also works without the cradle??

You have to able to manoever the dongle to make a "good" connection. That's difficult stuck in the side of the Med.

Getting a good connections requires that you can twist or turn aerials to get the best reception. If you plug the dongle directly into the Med you have no such control. It's sticking out of the side, flat.

You should point it out to your supplier. I never understood why they included it with the Med. You can only use the med (offically) with the Med dongle so they could save money and not put in the box, as long as it's supplied with the dongle. Only those buying the dongle need it.

I know you mean cradle. You should contact the supplier of your Med. If it should have one, it's their job to point it out to Sanji and get them sent out seperately. That's why you can't buy them sepereratly.
I've checked the EU site. The product is in "transition". They are indeed moving from having the cable in the box to having the cable witrh the dongle. Well that is the case if the photo's are to be believed.
So you've fallen in the gap. You have a new Med without a cable, and an old dongle without a cable. If you bought from sanji Eu and saw the photo with the new pyramid type cradle/cable then you've every right to say that's what you expected. Even if you didn't I would contact Sanji EU anyway to clarify what I have said and point out the situation it has put you in. I don't work for Sanji so my opinion has no weight. I can't gurentee you'll get a favourable result.

You probably got the wrong option type. As far I know there are 2 types: - the older type, that does not come with a cradle, that one is for the 500X as the 500X had standard a cradle in the 500X box. - the newer type, that comes with a cradle, that one is for the 500X light. This type you should have and is mentioned in the manual: http://www.mede8er.com/mede8er_support.html, see the Wifi section of the 500X light manual: Only use model MED10WFB WiFi Dongle as it is supplied together with the USB extension cable base.

Problem is , I know I had the cradle but can't find it anymore. Probably lost during my transition to my new home :-)
The dongle I received is white, and if I look for the cradle I see black dongles...
I will try how well it works without the cradle.

You can buy nearly everywhere cradle (like if I may say it in amazon) or in any good electronical market. They are often sold as USB extensions. I use one which was supplied with a D-Link Stick. Also the normal extensions with cords work (atleast till 1.5 metres, above I never tried it, but they are not as nice as the one with a stand. You can even buy one yourself (made once one out of some wood which was lying around and an extension cord).
