maybe some people always have their phone by hand or in their pocked and are always searching for the remote that was dropped somewhere by the kids...

I installed the .apk and it works great on galaxy s.

Great job dude keep up the good work.

Cheers

Criptix  Cool

P.s. on android 2.3.5.

Question: is it possible to add a virtual keyboard into the app? Would be great...

Just installed this on my htc desire hd.
Opened it, put in the ip of my mede8er.
Nothing happens, not even a blink to confirm you really hit a button.
 Sad

Got an buffalo airstation as my router. Mede8er is connected through cable.
My phone is rooted and up to date.

Anyone has a solution?
Or maybe the same problem?

Thanks for this app. Works great on my HTC Sensation. Almost smoother than the actual remote cause I don't have to point towards my Mede8er around the table bla bla bla....
Again, great app!

I have installed the app on my Xperia X10 mini and it is not working. I have enabled web remote on the Mede8er and I have entered the ip adres of the Mede8er (192.168.178.14, is fixed) into the app. I entered it without the "." because I am unable to select this character.
But when I touch one of the keys the app is freezing, not responding at all.
What can be the issue?

How do you put URL's in the browser? Can you create, export and import web favorites? If you can create and export a weblink...you than edit it externally. You can then import that as a Favourite Weblink for the Med remote port.

Are you asking this to me? Because I don't understand what it has to do with my app problem?

Everything to do with your problem. If you can't put in numeric URL's on the phone...you have to do it outside the phone and import it.

No, it is a specific problem in the app. The app does not offer all the characters I need. But I fixed it, because I used another app to insert the correct ip adres (incuding the ".") and after that I copied and pasted it to the Mede8er app, so now the correct ip adres is in the app, and it works!

Hmm installed in on an Xperia X10 Mini Pro 2.1-update1.
It installed OK, but i can't enter the ip adres of my Mede8er. I can't find de "." it doenst work on the keyboard or virtual keyboard.

I had the same problem. Just open an sms window, enter the ip adres (including the "."), copy it and paste it in the Mede8er app. Then it will work!

App works great on the S2 but the link with the latest version is broken. Could anybody upload that version?
Thanks a lot.
