Yes it is and with other app's like "FILE EXPERT" i can see and browse trough the mede8ter, so it is not a configuration problem or something like that. My son hase a Sony Ericson phone and it workt 1 time with his phone further it did not worked any more.

No good on either of my devices... Freezes on first button pressed... Using Samsung Galaxy S2 (Android 2.3.3) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GB 3. 2)

Did you set the IP number of your mede8er with the menu button first before starting to use it?

It's a network app that assumes you have a phone which networks..and hence through your own network can access the internet to download it.

Yes i understand that i have a Galaxy S II and downloaded the app to my downloadfolder when i try to change the extention i can't get rid of the JPG extension i did try it several times and when i change the name in mede8er.apk and save it
the system put's every time the jpg extension behind it  nd then it looks like this
mede8er.apk.jpg
How do i get rid of the JPG HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

Peerke1947, you cannot use the built in file browser. You will need to download a 'better' one from Market. Alternatively, if you can access the phone's contents from your PC, you can rename the file there.

Yep i have the file from this forum named mede8erremote.apk.jpg downloaded to my computer at home when i try to change the extention in mede8er.apk it won't work because the pc still put's the jpg extension behind it when i look in propertys it say's that it is a jpeg afbeelding and i can't change that

You have to unhide known extensions in windows View..and then expose the extension. Rename will not work until then.


Hide them again whe your finished..

...at best...it could turn the Med off.  The Med2key only has a Power Off option...for a similer reason as Maasbommel said...nothing is reading the keyboard when it's off..so it can't be used to turn it on.
