Hi all,

I am a new Mede8er' owner (MED400X) and as a matter of fact did not have the chance to operate the media player with a previous FW, just bought the player and then directly installed the latest V.4 firmware...
Quite often when i enter media library/network and get into it, i choose one of the available folders, press enter and suddenly i have a roll-back to the main menu of media libraries (USB, Network, Upnp, etc) and have to once more choose network...blah, blah, blah...

Is this a V.4 FW bug?

I have found that the Med dosn't respond to "some"  problems as it should. Now the code should be changed so that it does, but that wouldn't fix the underlying problem that caused it. It would just make it easier to know what the underlying problem was, and fix it.

In this case, Why would the med find opening a network folder a problem?

Are you show it's a Folder, and not the lower set of Network selections ,i.e Shortcuts or Workgroup?

Well, perhaps i was not self-explanatory enough...

I select the "media library" menu, press enter and then choose "network", then  i can see the workgroup, etc.

I choose one of the available folders of the network, get in to it, find a movie's  folder that i wanna play, see i.e. the mkv file and when i press enter to choose and play that, almost suddenly the menu pops me up back to "media library" menu and i see again the options:....usb, network, upnp, nas, etc...

So i have - once more -  to enter deeper in the menu to find the movie, songs, etc that i want to play...

I have not used a lot the other menu options (setup, etc) but i think that a couple of times i have faced similar problem

To verfiy if you problem is related to some V4 issue or not, you might consider to downgrade to 3.0.5 and compare the behaviour.
