Just noticed that with v4 final subtitles are always on by default with DVD ISO's, even when the option is switched off in system setup.  Anyone else confirm this?  I am testing with NFS and Network (Samba).

update...

just extracted one of my ISO's and the problem still occurs so it looks like DVD folder (video_ts) has the same issue.

I too have this issue. The very FIRST time I select a movie or if I add a movie the subtitles are on by default - even though they are OFF in the set-up. If I select the subtitles to be ON then OFF the problem goes away for ever on that particular film

I also have this on video_ts. Subtitles are OFF in settings, but when playing video_ts the subtitles are shown. Pressing subtitles button and switching off recitfies this, but looks like it's a bug that needs fixing.

I can confirm that problem as well - as I use video_ts structures only that is really annoying

Same here with my .iso files, all the subtitles play, sometimes they don't if you restart the movie, and if you go back to turn off the subtitles in the movie sometimes they do stay off but sometimes they don't and on some of my movies you can't go back out to turn the subtitles off unless you restart the movie and then the subtitles are still on and you have to fast forward to where you left off.
Very annoying considering I told the Mede8er to not play subtitles, I asked in another thread if any fixes for this issue is upcoming, it's good to see others having the same issue so I am not alone with this trouble.
