Just found out that skin you are using is old default (in Y2M beta 3)
then you may edit skin.properties (again) :

thumbnails.logoSubTitle=false

this [SUBS] text is from overlay PNG called "subtitle.png" under YAMJ\skins\default\resources, those code above will disable them. but again, you have to regenerate YAMJ.

Deleted SUBS.PNG from resource directory and re-run YAMJ and the "SUBS" is no longer present on any of the covers.
