Hi all,
I upgraded to V4 firmware and tried to follow the Video Wall User Guide Based on V4 but could not get it to work.  I have an internal hard drive named “Movie collection” (The name of the drive, not a folder).  I have 2 main folders in the HD:  Cartoon Movies & General Movies.
I stored my movies in those 2 main folders with their names, i.e.
Movie collection (E:)\Cartoon Movies\A Bug Life
In subfolder “A Bug Life”, I have AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders, Folder.jpg & About.jpg
I resized my Folder.jpg to 156 pixel in width as recommended, and the size of the image is way less than75k.
From the Media Library, I navigated to the “A Bug Life” folder and pressed menu & add it on the video wall.  I went to the Video Wall page, and pressed menu on the just added folder and select to apply Genre Cover art.  From the drop down list of available Genres, I selected Animation.  My folder now looked like the image on the bottom of page 2 of the User Guide, but not the image of the Folder.jpg.
When I selected the “A Bug Life” folder by pressing the round button in center of the remote, I saw 2 subfolders:  AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS only, no images.
Could someone tell me what did I do wrong and how can I play my movies from the video wall?
The example on the last page of the user guide suggested to use 3 level folder structure, but I used only 2 level (Didn’t I?) and it shouldn’t be a problem isn’t it?  Step number 4 of the same page said “Link the main folder “Movie Collection” to the Video Wall”.   Does that mean I have to link my Cartoon Movies folder instead of linking the “A Bug Life” folder?  The picture of the movie collection folder on that same page is showing 1 folder.jpg in each Genre Folder.  Does anyone know what is the folder.jpg for; movie 1, movie 2 or movie 3?
I am confused.

Hi Simple

You are adding the folder “A Bug Life” to the Video Wall and that is incorrect. You must add the folder "Cartoon Movies" to the Video Wall.

Thank you Mede8er1.  It works.
Have anyone noticed the picture quality of the movies has dropped in V4 comparing to V3?  I verified the same settings were used for both versions.

Hi Simple

The upscaling quality of SD content has been improved (sharper image) HD Content should be the same as V3

...
Previous versions of V4 did not use the screen size adjustment for displaying about.jpg on the Video Wall and used a fixed setting. We now respect the screen size and follow the red square for pixel size. I can see what you are talking about regarding the about.jpg if the screen size is set to small as the rescaling is introducing some problems on the text etc. Can you pls try to set the screen size to max and see if the about.jpg is any better.

On our setup using 1080p with the screen size correctly set the images are exactly the same quality. We will investigate this issue deeper but for the time being pls try the above.

...that was the last official statement regarding the ORIGINAL question in this thread - any news?! (my apologies for using caps but this thread should stick to the topic)

Thanks and best regards,

...wow, thank you very much for your quick and positive reply! And sorry for having overseen that obviously. Could you please explain what "latest internal release" means? Is there a new firmware for download? Or will that fix included in a new firmware that comes later...

Thanks once more and cheers,

Internal is another way of saying Release Candidate. No timescale can be given, but at least Mede8er1 is saying this problem is being addressed right now.
