Hello Guys,

Thank you for a truly great product love this machine.
I want to take a ICYDOCK system and raid drives. The rack can take up to 8TB via raid.

Is there perhaps a change that the Mede8er will see the entire 8tb via usb?

To see the product go to http://www.icydock.com/goods_cat.php?id=66

Regards

You have to use the equipments own raid software and create four 2TB Virtual drives each using the MBR partiton system. The med500 dosn't use GPT and Sanji won't know if or when Realtek intend to use it via the SDK.

Cheaper kit dosn't have this kind flexibity, so it may not be possible with the units you linked too.
