Before i upgrade the firmware to v.3, i just hooked up the usb harddrive and i was able to see like a resource in lan. something like \\med8er\usb1 .  now with v3 firmware, i can not acces the usb harddrive attached to media player from my laptop.Could anyone tell me where i miss something ?

Try to toggle NAS from on to off to on and you will probably see it again.
