New Med500x User

Hi all,

i am a very new user here. First i will say sorry for my bad english ;-) because i am from Germany.
I bought the Med500x (without HDD) as an Christmas-Gift for me and my family. Yesterday the mede8er was arrived. I was happy witth the package and the good accessories.
I must wait to play with it until my wife is in bed ;-)

- DD+ Version (blue sticker on the back)
- FW is 3.0.4 (i will play with that until V 4 is official released)

Today my purchased HDD is arrived (WD10EADS 1TB). I hope the disk is working good together with the mede8er (i will check this at night). I think there will be a lot of questions for me and i hope i get the help here.

You probably want to fill teh harddisk quick? Format it using Mede8er internal format and use USB (slave) to copy the files from your computer to the disk. Using Network will be slow.

Then you can play around;)

Install the harddisk quickly so you can enjoy the box together with your wife.

Yes it has been broadcast in Germany. They tweak the dub so  that it's Fascism, rather than  Germany, they make jokes about.
