Getting stuck with creating cover for movie

Hi guys,

I've just bough Mede8er yesterday, I got YAMJ and YAMJ to Mede8er but after generating the cover picture, I couldn't get movie information from IMDB such as GENRE, DIRECTOR, SCORE, ...it just shown me some pictures, plot only. How do I get all synopsis details as in the manual pdf attached within YAMJ file?

Did you use the package that is posted here:

Please use that one if not.
I am asking that because I see that your are not using the default skin that is in that package, and we need to know what your base Yamj config is.....
Did you modify things in the package or did you use an own Yamj setup that was already on your PC before using YamjToMede8er?

Thanks for your help. I run this program again and everything works fine now.

There is still one more question, do I can input other language such as Vietnamese instead of English in the movie summary (plot). Tvixie allows my fried do it on Slim S1.

Yes it is possible,  open de XML.file in your jukebox, you can edit it with notepad, go to line that says PLOT, edit the text (copy paste the plot from a website with the movie info in your language), save and done ! Now when you run Yamj to mede8er the plot schould be in your language !

Please anybody out there, HELP ME!!!!! Maby i am on the wrong topic or wrong place.
I am the owner of a Mede8er nou for almost a year, what a beat. Got a collection of 2500 avi movies
and was working with Movie Gui Buider. Still got 500 movies to do, but cannot because the Beta version has expired.
I dont want to do everything over with YAMJ. Can i recover the software!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am desperate. Must i pay??
Please help hierdie ou toppie ek wil nie so sukkel op my ouderdom nie.

Looks like there hasn't been an updated version for a while? You can try to download the program again from Guy Kuo from the AVS Forum thread, perhaps it got secretely updated.

In the past the program worked again by setting you system date back a month.. But I think that's no longer working to circumvent the expired-message.

Sorry, but if Guy Kuo doesn't update the program any more, you're stuck I guess..

For the further 500 movies you need to do, why not just put them in a new folder and use Y2M just for them?

Presumably you've already got about.jpg and folder.jpg for the movies you've already processed using Movie GUI Builder.

I guess the only downside to this is that they'll have a different skin perhaps.

Hi Guys, Thanx for answering me in such a short time. Sometimes i get stuck into something that i feal sorry for afterwords. Ja, okay i collect "AVI" files and not movies. Guilty? NO.
I tried the "PC Clock" story, but it didn't work. Even "RunAsDate"      http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/run_as_date.html
That also didnt work. Yes i am stuck. Maby not if i change to YAMJ.
I tried Yamj about several times, but i think i missed something. Why is there so many other programs running with it? Stupit Question? Maby. I know you are not teachers, but just tell me what to download and how does the whole story fit into each other.
