I have a problem with my mede8er and I can't find a solution.
there are ghost folders on my internal hdd. they are not visible on my computer but y2m seems to pick them up when downloading plot and about.jpgs. there are four of these folders with scrambled names lik "U$65CS" (this is just an example it is not real name of that folder). I would delete them but there are no folders to delete.

the second problem is regarding to folders also. I had a movie folder "Hulk" I deleted it while I was connected to my PC via USB. it was fine, deleted. But then when I was on my mede8er it was misteriously there again and I can't delete it nor via PC nor mede8er!!! it is empty but can't be deleted. this happened with some other folders aswell.

solution anyone?
my disk was formated as required FAT32 so I don0t understand, it is stupid to have folders that are empty shown and not being able to delete them.

FAT32 on internal Mede8er disk? Never heard anybody with that, normal NTFS or formatted by Mede8er setup -> also NTFS.

Have you tried to run fsck /f on it when connected by usb to your pc?

This sounds like a virus.
When connected to your computer you say you cant see the folders which probably means they are hidden.
Your computer is probably infecting your drive.
Have you run a virus scan on the drive?
