I bought a mede8er two weeks ago, installed a 2TB HDD and happily started to fill it with media and other files (I use as it as a home backup server).
All was fine and dandy till 8am today when I wanted to check if some files have been successfully copied over night.

It would be an underestimate to say that I was surprised when I found out that HDD1 directory is empty.
I logged in as “root” (via telnet) and executed “ls –alR”, however there was no sight of any of my files or folders.
And they say something like cannot happen on LINUX…

Is there anyone else out there with such misfortune?

Regards,
Sasha
