I have been trying to move from TVixie to thumbgen but I am pulling my hair out trying to get it right... Tongue
I have followed the tutorial to the letter (I think) and saved my own profile - I have that profile open when I start - but when it comes to actually outputting the information generated by thumbgen, it reverts back to the default profile and I end up with WDTV info in my folders instead of the Mede8er stuff I need.  hopefully there's some pictures attached to show you exactly what I mean...how do I manage to keep it in my mede8er profile please? (X2Movies English)  I've had to add the photos to extra posts as they are too large for one post...

The "profile" you're looking at are not the same thing: the first screenshot illustrates the real profile, where your setting are stored.

The "other" profile is the layout profile, you don't have to change it ever, unless you've special needs regarding thumbgen screen layout.

And, judging from what I see on the last screen, you're not using the right profile for your mede8er...
