Hi, I downloaded a m4v file last night, its amazing quality, but I cant seem to play it as I think its an Itunes or Apple movie file.

I converted it using AnyDVDConverter to avi and the quality is terrible and definitely not watchable on a big tv, anyone know what I should rather convert it to so that I dont lose any size/quality etc?

Try renaming it to mp4.
Be aware that if it has embedded DRM the file will not play on the Mede8er.
