Well, I've been so impressed with the Mede8er over the last couple of weeks that I've bought another one for my dad who's been asking me recently how he can show all his home videos and photos on his HDTV. A nice pressie for his 70th birthday I thought, paired with a 1TB HDD and a pair of AV homeplugs. Alas, DigitalEra are currently out of stock and are waiting for shipment from China, so it won't arrive in time for his birthday, but that's no big deal.

I must say how completely satisfied I am with both DigitalEra and the expert guys here on these forums who respond very quickly and are always very helpful.  Grin

p.s. thought these forums looked a bit quiet today, then I realised South Africa are playing France  Wink

Well the new unit arrived and I was pleased to see it's one with the new chipset Smiley

Would also like to praise the guys at DigitalEra (UK supplier), who responded to every email I sent them within 12 hours and quite happily supplied a 2-to-3 pin power adapter no questions asked (when they sent the wrong one with the Mede8er).

Fabulous service and I can highly recommend them!

Now the big question is, are you gone give your own mede8er to your dad and keep the unit with the new chipset yourself or not....   Wink
