Synology DSM 7 - SMB shares to med1000 not working
« on: December 11, 2020, 01:06:25 PM »
Hello,
yesterday I upgraded my DS415 to DSM 7 beta. Now my favorites on Med1000 aren't working, and I can't connect to my DS415 through network shares as before. The account is valid, tried to change it to admin, checked user/pass... Any idea how to fix this?
Thank you in advance,
Boris

Had the same problem.
Is due to disabling SMB1 (lots on that topic on DSM forum)

My Solution: use NFS
On DSM7:
Enable NFS (I Used max NFS-Protocol NFSv3)
On a Share I added NFS-Permission for my Mede8er 192.168.1.x/32, Read/write, check Give Users permission ....

On Mede8er
Media Library, NFS, (menu button) Probe NFS, IP-address NAS
