SSL handshake failure
« on: October 24, 2018, 09:14:51 am »
By trying to use the Internet (or the You Tube button) the MED600X3D reports an "SSL handshake failure". What should I do to solve the problem? Answers in German language are most welcome!

we are managing several mailenable 9.17 professional servers.
on some of them,

# openssl s_client -starttls smtp -crlf -connect hostname.tld:587 -CAfile /etc/ssl/certs/COMODO_Certification_Authority.pem

works very fine on others i get after

# openssl s_client -starttls smtp -crlf -connect hostname.tld:587 -CAfile /etc/ssl/certs/COMODO_Certification_Authority.pem
EHLO domain.tld
auth login
<user>
<pass>

an error as follows:

RENEGOTIATING
139633116677776:error:1409E0E5:SSL routines:SSL3_WRITE_BYTES:ssl handshake failure:s3_pkt.c:618:

i am not able to find differences in configuration
and i am not able to detect the root cause for this behaviour

does anybody have an idea?

kind regards,
andy
