Too bad itīs static images.

I am producing static images :)  Can't be dynamic... to achieve the dynamic effect the player must "steer" the lower part.

@ thumbgen, thanks very nice program. I tried YAMJ and YAMJ to Mede8er, but I prefer this. A bit slower but output is very nice.  ;D

i do it manually by editing the template skin xml file... :)  ..just look for "font" for the section you want to increase and increase its value....
save it and press the refresh button, it will be apply immediately....

i do that for the description part.... much easier to read.....

hope the developer can have a option to modify this on the program instead.....  :D

When you feel  TG being slow PLEASE write down also your arguments: when is it slow? It is very important for me to optimize those areas. Use only needed collectors, switch off autopreview and it will get faster. There are so many things done automatically in the background..maybe u don't need all (4 full images are downloaded before results page being ready for example).

Regarding font... the complete output of ThumbGen is steered by the (XML) template you use. On wdtvlive.net there are tons of templates. As soon as I finish the main tasks remaining for TG I will start working on a full featured Templated Editor (integrated in TG). That will make life much easier ;)

yes indeed , the description part is very small , my eyes suffer if i read all description.......... ;)

editing xml isn't what i want, but sience others work also in this way......... i dont have nothing else to do.. :(

Use the Templates Editor that comes with TVixie (tvixie.com); maybe it is easier than modifying xml (but not so fast for sure).

There are A LOT of templates available.. all of them have the font too small for you? Maybe we can push template authors to use bigger fonts, should be simple...

PS: @wayne99:  Are u sure u understood the concept behind ThumbGen? The developer of ThumbGen cannot add "an option" inside the app to make font bigger as the output is decided by the template that YOU choose :) That's the beauty of the templates-based concept.

Honestly I also think the font is a bit small on almost all templates... maybe authors have 50inch displays  ;D ;D

As soon as I come back from holiday I start working on a cool Templates Editor ;)  Every user will be able to make a template, that's my goal :)

Trying out ThumbGen v1.1.1

Liking it so far.
Fav Template = Ultimate Glass_Optional_SHEET

@TG I think you should look into your thread handling a little more, as your app seems to hang quite a lot.

Keep up the good work. (I would be more than happy to assist with Beta Testing)

Home Theater Setup:
Samsung LA40C650L1R
Mede8er MED500X2
Mede8er MED400X

Best u can do is to send me log.txt when u feel it is hanging ... theoretically should not hang :) ... Was it hanging during batch updating sheets from existing metadata? A log.txt after you make it hang will help a lot! (thumbgen [at] googlemail.com)

Thx for the feedback ;)

Just emailed you the log...

Question: Does TG also do file/folder renaming?

Cheers

No, there's no renaming feature in TG. There are some very good free tools for renaming files/tv shows; would be a waste of time to reimplement them. (TheRenamer, TVRenamer, etc)
