my Mede8er scrape movies but picture (and about.jpg ) is scrambled when i save it. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem. On the Dutch Mede8er forum i found a work-around. The problem occurs because the downloaded pictures are no longer in 72 dpi. The pictures on my Mede8er are now downloaded in 96 dpi and it seem the Mede8er can't handle them. The workaround is to manually convert the pics to 72dpi. Almost every picture editor can do the trick but this is how it's discribed on the Dutch Forum:

1. Download and install 'Image Resize' Its a free Microsoft App https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/resize-image/9p87m9tknkvl?SilentAuth=1&wa=wsignin1.0

2. In each movie folder there are 4 JPG files, (about, cover, fanart, folder)

3. Delete  "about.jpg"

4. Open the Microsoft App

5. Go to "select Image" and select 3 files present in the movie folder

6. Select custom and select "Resize the Origina" at the bottom, next select save

7. When done perform a new movie scan, nieuw about.jpg files will be created.

Of course this is a work-around like i said, what we really need is an update of the firmware but i doubt the will be one for the older models in the future...........
