Largest drive for MED800X3D
« on: March 08, 2018, 03:00:02 pm »
What is the largest drive size (in Tb) that can be used in the MED800X3D?

Will it work with a 12tb drive?

The sata support is meant for an optical drive. Realtek never designed it for high load devices. There have been some reports of I/O errors after using large load hard drives for a while.
Stick to PVR drives, which are sadly no longer labelled as such. It's means 3Tb Green.
