Mede8or 250x not reading HDD and USB

Good day
I have a Mede8or 250x which has been working fine for the past 2 years but has suddenly stopped reading HDD and from the usb slots. I can access all the menu functions. It just wont read anything including small memory sticks. The device is longer under warranty.

If your lucky it's just flash corruption. Reinstall the firmware using energeny install. That uses the boot loader code and it's own USB driver.

thanks but where do I get this firmware from and the code? how do I go about installing the firmware?
