MED800X3D
« on: September 22, 2017, 03:09:19 PM »
Hi I've just purchased an MED800X3D but need a WiFi dongle to connect for downloads. Could anyone advise a dongle that would work as I can't purchase the recommended one any place online.

Cheers

What do you want to download? Any dongle must be for a similar chipped player, now all defunct. Sumvision for example. But it must be for their family of realtek chipped players.

It's not for downloading or streaming any major files. It will mainly just be used for updates and movie covers etc. I prefer to use hard drive for watching movies.

Ebay is your best bet.

Thanks for that. I've had a look around eBay, any particular model you could recommend.

We are talking 2012 technology. I doubt people are bothered to re-sell a £20 dongle. If you only need temporary connecting use USB slave mode.
