According to the manuel AVI is fine.  I used DVD cloner to create a AVI file but the message that I received back after I wanted to play the movie was invalid file.  Can someone please help.

Thanks

I see DVD Cloner creates AVIs with MPeg4 video streams... It may be the codec and container combination?

Can you post a MediaInfo dump?

Here is a shot in the dark: Try to change the avi's extention to mp4 and then play it again on the Mede8er...

Why don't you rip it with Divx or some MKV cloning software

The quality and compression is so much better

Cheers
