Font Change to Template in Windows 10
« on: September 25, 2015, 11:34:00 AM »
After upgrading to Windows 10, all the text in the Origins template has been changed to Santana Black.  Another template I tried looks fine.  I've copied the files over again and nothing changed.  The other fonts are in the templates folder, but the template only wants to use Santana Black.

Since I don't see anyone else complaining, I assume i've just hit a weird quirk on my system?

Thanks.

The solution was found on a French forum.

Remember to thank him in return :)

The corrected fonts are available at: https://mega.nz/#!Cc0hGTYJ!rW_IfU4okfibtWMHWPM0w1CJWSTdJ1wUrVESbLBzvbU.

Procedure:
The files are named:
- [New Name (ex-Old Name) .ttf]

You erase everything in the brackets including these.
You replace the old with the new font in the template in question.
You edit the template.xml file to replace the old name with the new.

It is not just your system, it an issue with Windows 10 in combination with YaDIS 2.3.

I created updated templates for Windows 10, you can use  http://mgnet.me/.YaDIS_23_Win10
(Shorten magnet URI, requires bittorrent)

Enjoy YaDIS

if anyone is still using yadis and win10, you should know that the latest big win10 update from early november corrects this problem. You should now be able to use yadis with all templates as usual ;)
