MED250X Getting Hot??
« on: April 14, 2015, 05:36:47 am »
I have had my 250X for a week now. Over the weekend the unit was being used for playing movies for about 10 hours non-stop. I know it is a fan-less unit. The unit was getting fairly hot over this period with non-stop use over a 10 hour period. Would it be advisable to maybe place the unit on one of those laptop cooling fan decks?? Or is there no need to worry about the unit heating up. At the time 2 x 1TB external hard drives were conected to the unit .

The MED250X will run warm and their is no need to add a fan deck. Just make sure the unit has normal room ventilation and is not placed in a closed cupboard.
