Laptop doesn't recognise Mede8er player
« on: March 23, 2015, 06:24:31 pm »
I use the Mede8er Med500x for many years and I'am very satisfied. Since last week the laptop doesn;t recognise the mediaplayer anymore. Connecting to a different computer, samen problem. So, the problem is the Mede8er player and not the laptop. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Where you trying to use slave mode to fix the disk or transfer files?

There comes a point that the disk structure is so bad it can't mount using slave mode. You have to remove the drive and connect it another way, run chkdsk and put it back.

I wanted to transfer files from my laptop to the mediaplayer using the printer cable. I tried the printer-usb cable and I tried a usb-usb cable.
