Here are a few genre images based on the original 'Clapboard' design by eonnemisis.

These work better on the Mede8er when saved as a Jpeg and placed on a 100% black background:

This is great work!

Can you do 2 more for me?

1. Pictures (i know that a clapboard is for movies, but just to keep the stile...)
2. My Band (...and yes, I play in a rock band...)

Thank you.

The credit should go to the original author as indicated in the top of my first post - all I did was drop in a black background, resize to 200 x 200 and save as a JPG... (I have very limited graphic design skills).

The original artwork was posted by eonnemisis here - please feel free to download, create your own and contribute to the community.

Hi Tiger33,

These are only useful if you've got your collection of movies subdivided by genre, like

Z:\Movies\Action\Crank (2006)
Z:\Movies\Animation\Bolt (2008)
Z:\Movies\Western\3 10 to Yuma (2007)

You then drop the pictures you like in the appropriate genre folder and if it's the only picture file sitting there, it will show up on the mede8er when you browse through your genre folders.

Of course you can make your own subdivisions and our own pictures if these don't suffice Smiley

As long as the mede8er hasn't got a search function, I found this the easiest way to find a film to watch, as we got say 90% of the movies with the NAS we bought and I don't have a clue what they are about (probably most of them suck  Grin )
