I have the 250X with a external HDD connected via USB. On this HDD I have two folders, one with music and another with Movies (mp4). I can see both of them in the Media Library and can watch movies and play music from there, but my "Music" and "Movie" folders remain empty, and thus I am losing out on the functionality of having data in those folders. How do I get my music to show in the MUSIC folder so that I can create playlists etc? same for my movies...thanks!

I have also just bought a 250x and experience the same problem.  I have an external hard drive that used to work perfectly on Western Digital TV media player (but which suddenly died).  The files are all in Flac format, organised by album/artist.

Can anyone advise?
