Why is it I am not supposed to play with a new feature?  Because you don't like me?

I know exactly where my about.jpg's are.  I already indicated where they are.  And folks have already posted they are having to put their trailer's stored locally in a different folder.

So no, you answer is NOT precise.

Are you here to help folks like myself or express your personal opinion about me?

Why are you being excluded? You won't have the data folder issue that jukebox+ users have to deal wiith.

The trailers are not in one place...each trailer has to be with the about which calls it, in your case with the movie itself. The new code will detect a correctly named trailer....in the same folder as the about..and gives you a trailer selection icon on the about.

People say we over complicate things....but I can't find a way to over comp!icate saying.....the trailer is the same folder as the about which calls it.

If anyone here personalises posts its yourself.  There is nothing in my posts about this  that  says we have made it complicated just to make things difficult for "you", so  that "you" are excluded.  Instead we think its very simple, and its inclusive, as it isnt limited to jukebox users.

I see some strange behavior in TV Series.

When I change ViewMode and/or ViewType on for example Fargo - Season 1 the settings of the parent folder changes also.

Changing the setting of the parent folder affects the underlying sub-folders. It is as if changes are copied through the entire directory tree or something though the View.xml's don't seem to change. Very odd.

Please look into it.

Without autoview on you are changing the global view setting.

I don't know if this is a known issue or not but I just noticed this:

When playing any type of audio file (flac, wav, mp, etc.) the time that is displayed doesn't advance smoothly. The seconds are jerky - the seconds do not advance in proper 1-second increments. Some seconds go by faster than others, and there seems to be  a pattern where 1 second takes a bit longer, then the next is shorter, next is longer, etc.

The music itself seems to play fine but the fact that the counter can't even display the seconds in proper real time looks pretty sloppy. Can this be looked at? This may not seem like a priority but one of the big features of this player is the ability to play your music collection, and showing the seconds in real-time should be a given.

The GUI cannot be given priority. The priority has to be playing the media, and getting the media to the player if streaming. This is why the moving screensaver was replaced some time ago. It used stop and start, go fast, go slow...as CPU time was spent on more important functions.

You already can, you just can't use the root folder as the favorite link.

I have often the problem that the device restarts at the time I try to play a movie after viewing some movie trailers before. All is done within one favorites jukebox - no jukebox+.

Are you using Jukebox Mode (Jukebox mode on in setup) or is it off?

Movie trailer view is a great addition and I applaud the developers for it.

Why are the trailers played with continuous repeat? I have to press stop when re-run starts to return to moviesheet. Should it not automatically return back to the moviesheet in the jukebox after a single play?  ??? My "Multi video play" setting is set to off.

What you ask for is what we wanted but it not possible as the trailers play in the web browser and we have no control  to do a return at the end of the trailer

Safari blocks scripts turning trying to turn it off. So the only options are single play....and stare at a YouTube thumbnail until you press stop.....or loop the trailer until you press stop. Many people expect looped trailers....its what they get with other devices such as cable/sat TV.

If Safari is so restricted, is it best to find a better alternative such as Firefox?
