3d ISO shuttering
« on: August 18, 2014, 08:15:18 PM »
Hi, I just install my med8er 600xd but when I play 3d ISO through Nfs I have shuttering. With 2d rips I have smooth video. I gave AirPort Extreme router and tp-link tl-sf1005d Ethernet switch. The media box is connected through the switch to the router. Any help? I actually I bought the media for the 3d blu ray iso.

Did you set the NFS setting in the setup menu and then reboot the X3D? Normally UDP and 32K is best for 3DBDISO streaming.

The same file was playing from the laptop with nvidia 750 sli and was playing smooth. No I didn't set up the NSF. I am gonna check it when I will be home tonight. Thanks for the fast response. Something else. How I play blu ray videos with more than one file?

It appears in quick searching that the tp-link tl-sf1005d switch is only 10/100. With the big file size of 3D ISOs, a 10/100 switch would certainly be a bottleneck.

If that spec is accurate, try a Gigabit switch.

Thanks I ordered already in 2 days comes for testing. I will also try to connect straight to the router to see if it's the fault of the switch.

So I went home and I connected the Ethernet straight to the router and I also change the Ethernet cable to a better one. The shuttering now is less but exist in blu ray 3d ISO. I am newbie with network  things. I usually play my ISO from the network and workgroup meany on media manager. I heard from NSF is faster. But I don't know how to create. My nas for example the ip is 10.0.1.10 and after I have to put folder path but I don't know what to put? Some body can help me with this?

Could you extract a report of the file through MediaInfo? (http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/ )
I that way we could help you find the exact problem why the blu ray 3d iso is stuttering. Could be a bad created ISO.
