Bit torrent and HFS+
« on: July 29, 2014, 11:50:04 AM »
This morning I partitioned a part of my hfs+ drive to add a NTFS partition in it, to allow bit torrent client to work.
To my surprise, the BT client does work! but it has created the Transmission folder inside the HFS+ partition! the NTFS is empty.
Am I missing something? I thought it needed a NTFs for it to work.
Will it have problems working on a HFS partition?

Try and see....
Who, knows it might even work off the Internet Services interface, rather then  the external web one?

Mixed partitions like this are not officially supported and hence not tested. It might work now but not in future firmware releases.

oh well, I will delete the NTFS and just leave the single HSF+... I don't understand why they say you need NTFS while it works also with HSF+

Anyway, it's been working fine and stable for days now...
