MED600X3D and ISO files
« on: May 18, 2014, 12:04:57 PM »
Hi all,

I plan to purchase a couple of days MED600X3D and I would like to ask whether anyone has tried to play the ISO file with a bitrate of around 50 Mbps? Performs the player correctly? My current eGreat R6S Pro, when playing 3D ISO - Star Trek: Into the Darkness with bitrate of 48 Mbps are already in the image artifacts and errors.

Thanks for any reply

There are some recent disk encodes that overload older chips like the realtek 1186, even from disk. So you can't put such issues just down to streaming .

jer...according to all review the MED x3d play iso with high bitrates flawlessly....yet you say that it is "normal"?
my brother has the med1000 and he NEVER had any issues with 3d ISO !
is it coz he is using a fast internal hdd ?

You will see reports of some bd's creating issues, such as tangled. It doesn't look like a bitrate issue, more a codec chip overload.  If you already having such issues with one disk then it may be such a disk. If you had said all disks where an issue then the cause was more likely to be something else, and  llikely to be fixed by changing player. As it stands the X3d is not a cure for problem dsiks like tangled.

The original poster is not saying if he plays from local disk or network.
The last is also pretty dependant on the quality of the user network.....

i have a mede8er 1000X3D with a seagate 3TB 7200rpm internal drive , with quite a few 3D iso on it, including  star trek into darkness and Tangled and my player handes them perfectly with no issues at all   :) :)

thanx...you are like my friend that has the med1000 and never a single problem with 3D ISO !
maybe only the med600 has issues....as it does not have the possibility to add a fast 7200 hdd
