I seriously doubt you're reading what I've written. If something work in 3.0.5 version, and DONT WORK in 3.0.6.... Well, I thought you din't need to be aeronautical engineer to understand it.

Your nick here its "jer1956" (Global Moder8or) right?
I Would like to know if you talk in official representation of  Sanji Electronic. Tomorrow I´ll call to the company to explaine your way to receive customer experience. Sanji sells the Med8er with a promise of interaction with the customers to improve the performance of his product and sure they like to know how its accomplished by their representatives.

After your answer about that, I Will not need anything more from you; I´ll talk directly with them.

p.s.: Don´t waste your time to change and soften your answers. I have the original saved for Sanji.

bye bye.

Great ! After updating to this firmware a few of my HDDs wil not be recognised anymore and if i try to go to the recognised HDDs the MED600X3D will just freeze and do nothing. Also there's no reaction if i try to turn off the device with the remote or the ON/OFF switch directly. I've tried to reinstall the FW three times again (USB sticks were still working) with the problems remaining and finally went back to 3.05 and everthing is now bck to normal.

Pherhaps u are a weird communist consumer without ambition to improve...
Communism is improvement if people are not blocking it. Capitalism ist a standstill we have now for thousands of years of slavery with only a few people have profit from it. Technical progress does not have anything to do with this...

The issue for me is not what you posted, but how you responded to zed85. You can't post on a forum, especially using bold to attract attention, and then attack anyone who chooses to post a disagreement.  I posted to support a valued member of the community who has done much to achieve what you say you want, an improved player.

I agree to Jer1956. It is not in the orginal specs. It is not normal to expect a device to function other than is described.
Other than that I would like to say I would like to see that the Mede8er device will eventually support Flash IPTV links.

The Mede8er 600x3D has an RTD1186 chipset inside. I know other media players with that same chipset do support Flash.
For example the AVF ACCENTTURE AH069 and the EGreat R200S. These media player devices have the same RTD1186 chipset and have a browser what do supports HTML5 and FLV/Flash.

So I think it is an firmware/software related issue, not a hardware issue.

Please try to keep things friendly and civil.  I don't read this thread to hear people arguing.  I read the thread to find out if the latest build is stable enough I want to try it, and if someone has already provided the feedback I'm considering leaving.   Incidently, that is exactly the title of this thread "feedback".   Feedback means just that.  It could be bugs, it could be desired related updates, it could be opinions and feelings about the way the newest updates work.   For every change, I'm sure there are people that think it is cool, and people that feel it is a step in the wrong direction.   Certainly present your opinion, but there is no need to argue to the death to defend it.  It is just that your opinion.

Now when I read through the noise of this argument, I see a few posts that indicate serious problems with freezes and such with this build, so I won't be trying it.   But it would have been much easier to reach that conclusion if there wasn't all this extra noise.

Hi,

Some of my 1080p mp4 files played on X3D is out of sync. I have selected "Auto Lip Sync" in the setup as well. They play fine on my PC.

I believe this has been answered before, I think the answer was down to how the video files were ripped, what software etc. Hence they play fine on a PC but not on Mede8er due to lack of tolerances and missing information inside the file.

Ok, Thanks for the reply adamforeman.

Will try and rip / convert them differently.

Any news on this:

http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,12275.msg81321.html#msg81321

I have also reverted back to 3.0.5 due to the IO error message I get and it is fine now.

One strange thing I have noticed is that version 3.0.5 is the only version I have ever seen that loaded to 100% during the install phase. All the other versions usually go up to 70 to 75% and then immediately completes.

Just my observations.

I have problem with movie infos... everything was ok until I installed a new skin - X2_Skin_for_X3_15Dec2013.
After that the movie infos are missing and pictures are random ones. I cant even change them anymore since they dont save.

Changing back to old skin also does not fix the problem.

Which skin did you install?
With V3 firmware you can only install skins that explicit mention that they support the new V3 firmware.

To recover from this, reinstall the firmware with recovery mode.

As said before the skin was X2_Skin_for_X3_15Dec2013. I reinstalled the firmware and nothing changes. Pictures and descriptions are on wrong movies. Movies that are in sepparate folder are ok but not visually nice like before.

Also the player randomly hangs so reset is required. The soft is not OK. The hanging was almost right away after installing the 3.0.6 at the first time.

Sounds like you not using the Movie Jukebox and just browsing via the Media Library. Suggest you post a sample of the image that is not visually appealing.

I enabled jukebox view and now it is impossible to edit movie folder as it hangs immediately. How can I do full system restore?
