How do I download onto the Mede8er 250x

I know this seems a silly question, but I just bought the Mede8er 250x, it says it comes with an internal hard drive but when I hook it up to my pc it doesn't show up? How do I download files onto my 250X. I'm very new to this and I cannot find a manual that gives you that simple instruction.  :-\

Did you already format the internal disk in the setup menu?
That should be the first step to get it show up on your pc when you connect it by usb cable.
