med 300x 10-bit

Can the med300x play 10-bit videos?
I tried to play a 10-bit mkv file and it had no picture. I tried following the fix on http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,3392.0.html but it still has no picture.
Why was that?

edit: I tried playing other mkv files and it worked, so I'm assuming that it can't play 10-bit videos.
