Then go back  and do the test I asked before.  Use Auto DHCP  on your PC and then see what info it gives for the networks DNS server.  You can post what  you find as before using those images.  

Sorry i'm having trouble doing this test,could you explain how go about it.
I did an ipconfig /all in cmd promt and this shows my dns server as 194.132.32.32
which is the one i got from ipredator.
Also shows dhcp enabled =yes and autoconfiguration enabled=yes.

To do this test requires you to use auto dhcp fot your pc lan setup. Are you saying you are, and you put the predtor ip in the router?

The ipredator ip is put in "use the following DNS server addresses"as shown in my
previous screenshot.

You didn't post the proprtie tab which shows if you are manual or dhcp. If you are manually setting the ip the test I need requires you to go back to using allocated settings from the router, not manual (see image below).

Yes sorry i got things mixed up with the screenshots.
Here's a screenshot of how it is with the ipredator ip
address in and other screenshot of it removed and on
auto.Still doesn't detect x3d hdd.

This is not a test for that..but a test of what  the DNS server is.   Using that setting ..show the image that  shows what  the DNS server is.

The good things is the router has a DNS Proxy as it's given you "its" local IP for DNS.

Do  you know  how to  bring up your routers WEB interface?

Just checked the network again and the X3D is showing again now.
But thats with the ipredator ip address removed which meand when use
the open vpn i have a dns leak showing my true ip.

That is why I asked if you can open up  the router web interface. The router is daisy chaining DNS to  your ISP's DNS server. You can change that in the router to  daisy chain to  ipredator instead.

Ah i see .If i go into network and right click on "BT home hub 3.0 media gateway"
then choose "view device web page"i can get into the settings of the hub,is this
what you mean?see screenshot.

That's a problem...

I don't think BT hubs do  anything other than  use BT servers...it makes setup  easier for them.

Do ipredator consider themselves a  dynamic domain name system (DNS) service?

It could be that you can set DNS under the Advanced Settings tab of your router...

If i emailed customer service and ask them they'd proberly get back to me 3 days later.
So having the ipred ip address put in is causing the network not to connect to the mede8er?
