hi you had i am new to my med600x 3d , i have a lacie for which does not play much or updrade much , but at least all you
had to do was press a button to upgrade , with the med 600 with wifi it would be nice when a update comes , that they included incude this ? it wuold save all this muching around un zipping etc , we are now 21st centery

there recently was a new firmware released.. all you have to do is download it. save it to usb drive.. plug it in to med.. turn of power.. and remove power cord.. while u press power button plug in power cable wait 15 sec release power button and it will install..

 would be have to do over the internet without a hardrive present in the unit :)

Just read the forum and you will see there isn't always forward progression.  For all kinds of reasons features may be dropped, or new bugs found in the next sdk.  The more easier it is to upgrade, the less likely are users to ask if they should.

My panasonic tv upgrades automatically.  They replaced the flash youtube client the x3d has with the newer smart tv version, which I don't like. It runs too slow on the single cpu st models.
