300x won't read USB 3.0 2,5 drive...

Hi there, my med 300x reads beautifully from my 2.0 USB 2.5 hard drive, but I recently purchased a USB 3.0 2,5 hard drive and the 300x won't recognize it as being connected. I have also uploaded and installed the latest firmware and still no success.
 Any thoughts?

What size drive?

Only the latest X2 and X3 models can cope with the latest 3 TB drives, and then only when using GPT, i.e not supporting XP.

Suggest you format the new drive to a NTFS Partition and then the MED300X should read it.
