Hi,When i click the X3D folder on my pc i'm prompted to put in a
user name and password for network login which i've never had.
I've checked network and sharing settings and i can't see anything wrong.

Had a fiddle about with the Winshare manager for but did'nt get anywhere.
I can see everything on my pc from the X3D and stream it and copy it to the
internal hard drive.
But when i'm on my pc and i try to access the media on my X3D hard drive i'm
locked out and asked for a username and password, this has only just happened
and prior to this there was no problem. Here's a screenshot of what i get when i try
to access the folder.

Do you mean  via  a previous shortcut or via Network Discovery?

Both Samba security and processes were turned on,but i think they always have been.
So i turned them off, then checked the pc and the X3D folder has disappeared now from
the left hand pane.
This is were it was before.

Just tried putting Samba process back on and left security off and it's fixed it.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. :)

Samba security had stopped working in the last few beta's so if you had been turning it on it would have had no effect. It was fixed for the release version.
